As a Bunker Trader Trainee, you will enter a 6 months trainee program which includes a dedicated mentor within the trading team who will take the lead in your theoretical learning, providing detailed training on the industry.
You will be introduced to the trading tools, platform and network, and you will establish an understanding of the market as well as develop your own relationships and sourcing channels. As our new Head of Cost and Value Engineering (CVE) you will manage the Procurement Program Leads for all new product introductions, ensure early involvement of CVE and/or supply into the design-stage and participate in all product development relevant steering & sound boards to represent the Procurement function.
You will drive cost analysis and identification of cost optimization through modularization, standardization and increase of material utilization for major components. It is part of your responsibility to analyze and optimize the right value-chain depth for major products, modules and components. Furthermore, you will manage the end-to-end purchasing process for all prototyping products, modules and components while optimizing all SCM relevant criteria.
